Nu 2012
Reasoning behind this wine : The idea came to develop a range of rosé completely different from what is produced in their main production region, the South of France. These rosés are generally characterized by a high alcohol and low acidity.
To develop a range of light, fresh rosé wines, with lots of fruit and especially less alcohol seemed an interesting idea. The vintage "Rosé Nu" belongs to this range. We called it "Nu", that means "Naked" because of the transparent and thin label which gives the impression of a completely "naked" bottle. How this wine is made : Also in a great transparency, without chaptalisation, And no specific yeasts. The alcoholic fermentation is as simple as possible, at low temperature to maximize flavor. There is no added sugar or various oenological products in bottling such as gum arabic, ascorbic acid, metatartaric, etc ... Only a wise quantity of sulfites..
